Great food!
2nd time eating their food. So very tasty! This time we ordered online and picked up the food. We live about 15-20 mins from the restaurant. The food was still hot when we got it home, and it tasted delicious. I fully recommend the quality and taste to everyone. We will be back!
Loved their Tandoor Chicken, Chicken Korma and Nan bread. Yummy.....
I came for a meal with 15 girlfriends, which is a difficult prospect for any restaurant, and I was very impressed by the service and the quality of food. Our server was both attentive and diligent and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals .... they were full of flavour and warm spices. If you like cauliflower then I thoroughly recommend the Gobi 65 which comes with a very spicy sauce. As for the garlic naan ... delicious! We’ll definitely be back.
I came on Friday night with 15 others ladies so a big crowd to deal with particularly as the restaurant was full. It took a while for staff to come and take the drinks order as the priority was filling up individual glasses of water, I suggest perhaps a few jugs on the table for larger groups. The bar was not stocked adequately as they did not have some of the bottles of wine we wanted so perhaps a “Bring your own” option might work. The food however was superb, I had been looking forward to my Chicken Jalfrezi all day and I am still thinking about it now... it was wonderful....the garlic naan was to die for and the chicken dosa was excellent. This is by far the best curry I have had in a long time. The staff were really friendly and worked very hard. I will definitely be back.

I have eaten in many Indian restaurants and this is one of the best I have tried. We booked for seven but could arrive until ten - it was not problem, nothing was too much trouble! The service was very friendly and efficient, easily coping with our large party of 12. Food arrived piping hot and in good time. The menu contains a good number of house specialties which are a cut above the normal menu offerings.The restaurant was clean . So excited to see now they started Day Specials - Eagerly waiting to go one of the Dosa night .

Love this place! We had the lamb bhuna and a veggie Korma this time and both were absolutely delicious. So happy to finally be able to get proper, tasty, indian food here after leaving the UK 7 years ago as none of the other places around really hit the spot. This one definitely does! Really easy to order online too - can't wait for our next visit :)

Thoroughly enjoyed my first experience at Red Chillies! I'll definitely be back to try many more items on the menu! Be ready for some spiciness -- our mild Kadala definitely had a kick to it, and our medium Beef Curry packed a punch.

The food was very good. It took over an hour to deliver , and consequently the food was less than hot... but then things are not normal. I am extremely impressed by your online ordering system; very fast, very user friendly.
I tried to order online and it informed me that if nothing happened then the order did not go through and there was an issue. After approximately 40 minutes I was called to inform me that my order was ready. I did not receive ant Text or email message that my order was confirmed as happens with professional restaurants. Spoke to a very rude worker.

The food was good. The paneer butter masala was really hot even though it was a delivery but the curry should have been little more tasty. The problem was with naans( garlic oregano cheese & chilli cheese). They were undercooked and the main thing why I bought them was I think the naans would be creative as names but there was no cheese in the naan just tiny small white line on naan. The chilli cheese naan just had chilli flakes on it and no cheese in it even though it says cheese chilli naan and the price was 5.99 for it which I think is not worth for. The same goes for garlic oregano cheese naan- no cheese just tiny small line on naan and garlic and oregano on the naan. I also ordered bhature and they do follow your instructions. You also get extra condiments with two small boxes which I think are garlic paste but they are not so spicy instead little sweet in taste. Overall a nice experience. Delivery is fast and friendly. Suggestion please start buttermilk. First have a small sample to everyone so that know what buttermilk is it and afterwards if you see positive response than start selling. Do something about that two naans and if you make cheese naan please make it like Indian style which I think you know how good and cheesy they taste. Sorry for this much long review but you guys can still do better i think. Best of luck.

This meal was fantastic. However, even the mild was extremely hot...we normally enjoy a medium and were told that your seasoning is on the hot side....that is a truth!! It was delicious though. Hubby is eating the leftovers tomorrow LOL

I love the food at Red Chiilies Flavours of India and had planned to order today through Skip the Dishes. Instead I googled Red Chillies and ordered direct. This was an excellent idea. I think more dishes are available and the price reflects the fact that this is coming from the restaurant direct and not via a 3rd party. So I overordered but don’t care. I had a delicious meal - some shrimp, some beef, some chicken, tasty pakoras and on and on. Great price, speedy delivery. Will be back.

The food is excellent and a real welcome to Bedford. Our family has often thought that certain cuisines were missing from this part of Metro. Thankfully, Red Chillies has fullfilled one of those. We will be back, for sure.

This is our third time ordering and I was very excited as the previous orders had been amazing. I was quite disappointed with my order this time. The peshwari naan was dry and not as flavourful as the last two times and the curry was also bland and not as tasty

Our food was amazing, but the online ordering system could use some work. Confirmation emails and online tracking would make a huge difference in us deciding to order from Red Chillies in the future.
Excellent food, excellent service. We have eaten-in once and had take-away on three occasions. They only lose a star because their online ordering is quite frustrating - it says things like "We're not open now, but you can pre-order" and then it won't let you pre-order. Very annoying, but the food is totally worth the frustration.

Overall, very good. But the mattar paneer could have more paneer. This is the second time we ordered this dish (our favourite), but both times it was more sauce and just a few pieces of paneer.

We were here last evening Monday around 6 pm ,it was very busy,every table occupied along with several take out orders.We highly recommend the Lamb Biriyani,fresh,hot,(temp)large portion with melt in your mouth lamb,we ordered medium(spice) which was perfect.Also had Vegetable Pakoras (spelled different on menue) delicious !!!!!Friendly staff.

This was the first time we ordered food from here to be delivered, so we wondered if it would be as nice as when we go into the restaurant, and it was!! It is our favourite Indian restaurant in the HMC. The service is always friendly and the food is authentic and extremely tasty. We are vegetarians and there is plenty on offer for us, so we don't have to go in and have the same thing each time, lots to choose from!! An excellent place to eat and very family friendly.

This was our first time ordering takeout from Red Chillies, during Diwali of all days. When we arrived to pickup our order the pleasant aroma of Indian spices hit you as soon as you opened the door, and almost every table was occupied before 5pm. The staff greeted us upon arrival and informed us our order would be ready in a few minutes. We were very pleased with the service, and the dishes we ordered were delicious. Next time we’ll dine-in
The food was good, not overly authentic. The chicken in the vindaloo was very dry and the sauce was good but nothing amazing. I do wish they had any naan but they were completely sold out of all of them. The korma was tasty as was the butter chicken. The beef in the korma was well cooked. I think my biggest complaint was the dry chicken. I would have loved the vindaloo to have had more flavor.
The food quality and flavour was absolutely fantastic, but the tandoori sauce was FULL of small bone shards. I choked and had to cough one up, and we had to spend a lot of time picking the small bones out.

We are relatively new in Halifax, so this was the first time we tried the takeout from Redchillies. The website is pleasantly user-friendly and professionally done, the menu is quite extensive, ordering online was a breeze and the food was ready when we arrived to pick it up. We ordered Chicken Kadai, Palak Paneer, Jeera Rice and Butter Naan, and were very pleased with the food. It was authentic, delicious and each dish had a distinctive taste. We ordered medium spicy and it turned out exactly that. The prices are reasonable for the quality. The only negative – and it is a minor one – was that the quantity was a bit on the low side. We will surely return.

The butter chicken (mild), vegetable samosas and basmati rice were very good. However, the Dal Tadka (mild) and Aloo Gobi (mild) were overly spicy, with the Dal so hot that we were unable to eat it. This is the first time we had ordered Dal Tadka. Previously, the Aloo Gobi was flavourful and mildly spiced, as ordered. While I realize there are many (most?) who enjoy the heat, we are not among them and just hope that the heat level in future will be “mild” when requested.
Chicken tikka masala (medium) was delicious, as was the garlic naan. Great flavour from the tandoori platter (mild) but very spicy. Would love to see cucumber raita included in the take out orders :). Will be back and excited to visit the retail shop soon

The food was great however, I ordered at 712 and my order was confirmed at that time via email, with a 30 min time frame. At 800 I called and was told the delivery driver was delivering another order but we would have ours in 15 mins. At 825 I called and was snapped at saying the delivery driver was on his way and to be patient. My order finally showed up at 837. It took almost an hour and a half to get an order that I had to order more than I wanted just to get delivery, paid 4 dollars for delivery and got my order 1 hour and 7 minutes after the confirmed time. This is not acceptable!

We finally found a truly wonderful Indian restaurant in Halifax! We had so many delicious dishes! The food was brought out quickly and our server Gurleen was very attentive. We can’t wait to try more amazing dishes! Thank you for a great meal!

The portion sizes have reduced an incredible amount. You need to change that. I may or may jot give you one more chance to improve the portion sizes on $130 Order. It was barely enough for 4 people.

Had my first meal from Red Chillies and I was not disappointed! The butter chicken was the best I've had locally! Was sad that the paratha was sold out for the day, but otherwise can't complain about the selection. I scheduled a takeout order online to pickup at 4:30 and I walked out the door at 4:32 :) Will definitely be back to try the rest of their menu!

Really tasty food as evidenced by the long lineups for takeout during these pandemic days. Highly recommended. Great quality food. If you enjoy Southern Indian food - just go! You'll be glad you did! A little slow when it comes to service sometimes. But good things come to those who wait. But pleasant staff, even under very busy circumstances. Oh - and if you like spicy like we do - get it hot! Otherwise, you will have to experiment, especially if you are new to delicious Indian cuisine.

Have ordered several times for takeout.The service is great and mainly on time when picking up.Have tried many different curries here but so far the best is Lamb Rogan Josh.The lamb is tender and sauce delicious.Our go to each time is Lamb Biriyani,the heat level medium (which we chose) is spot on.Servings are plentiful ,enough for 2 with leftovers.

Our order took nearly 2.5 hours to be delivered (website had said 60 mins). I appreciate you are busy, but this is the third time this has happened. When it arrived, a lot of the food was cold and an order of rice (which I paid for) was not included. Also there were no sauces with the apps. The food as always was delicious, but the delivery experience remains problematic. 5 stars for the food, but 1 star for the delivery experience.

The most authentic tasting indian food I have tasted since moving here from Toronto. Such amazing flavours. The restaurant smelled so good. I wish I ordered a more hardt dish as the Korma doesn't have anything but sauce and meat but that was my mistake not theirs. The somosas were amazingly filling.
